What dice notation formats are supported?

The roller supports standard notation: NdS (e.g. 2d6 rolls two six-sided dice), NdS+M or NdS-M for modifiers (e.g. 1d20+5), NdSkh# to keep the highest # dice (e.g. 4d6kh3 rolls 4d6 and keeps the best 3), and NdSkl# to keep the lowest (e.g. 2d20kl1 for disadvantage).

How does advantage and disadvantage work?

In D&D 5e, advantage means rolling 2d20 and keeping the higher result, while disadvantage means keeping the lower. Toggle the mode before rolling a d20 using the quick roll buttons. The roller shows both dice and highlights which was kept.

What do Natural 20 and Natural 1 mean?

A Natural 20 (nat 20) on a d20 is always a hit on attack rolls and is a critical hit, dealing double damage dice. A Natural 1 (nat 1) on an attack roll always misses regardless of modifiers. These do not apply to ability checks or saving throws by RAW, though many tables houserule them.

How does the Roll for Stats feature work?

The Roll for Stats button uses the standard 4d6 drop lowest method. It rolls four six-sided dice, drops the lowest result, and sums the remaining three. This is done six times to generate a full set of ability scores for Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma. The modifier for each score is also shown.

How does the Attack Roll helper work?

Enter your attack modifier (e.g. +5 for a typical martial character) and the target's Armor Class (AC). Click Attack to roll 1d20 plus your modifier. The result is compared to the target AC and shows HIT or MISS with color-coded styling. Natural 20s are always critical hits and natural 1s always miss.

Can I save my favorite dice rolls?

Yes! Click the star icon next to any roll in the history to save it as a favorite. Favorites are stored in your browser's local storage and persist between sessions. You can re-roll any favorite with a single click from the Favorites section, or remove it when you no longer need it.

How many rolls are kept in history?

Accepted Answer

The roll history displays the last 20 rolls. Older rolls are automatically removed as new ones are added. You can clear the history at any time with the clear button. Attack and damage rolls also appear in the history.
